Disabilities
We all have different skills, and some things that come easily to one person are hard for another and vice versa. Sometimes, for various reasons, a person finds some day-to-day tasks difficult. A disability is defined as “a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on one's ability to carry out normal, day-to-day activities”. This means that it's hard for a person with a disability to do things that other people take for granted, although what it is that they find hard to do depends on what type of disability they have. Not only may day-to-day life be harder for these reasons, but people also may face discrimination (be treated unfairly or unkindly) because of their disability.
